Terms of Service

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Uelt website, web application, AI features, and related services.

By using Uelt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Who we are

The service is provided by Uelt S.r.l., with registered office at Via Archimede 43, Pisticci (MT), Italy.

3. What Uelt is

Uelt is a digital tool for personal finance organisation, financial data interpretation, transaction categorisation, and the generation of AI-powered insights, simulations, and summaries.

Uelt is not a bank, broker, investment firm, financial intermediary, or regulated financial advisor.

4. Eligibility

You may use Uelt only if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

5. Account and credentials

Some features require an account and accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the use of your account, unless the issue results from a security failure attributable to Uelt.

6. Available features

Depending on your plan, Uelt may allow you to:

  • monitor accounts and transactions
  • connect accounts through open banking
  • receive automated transaction categorisation
  • obtain AI-generated summaries, simulations, and insights
  • use an informational financial chat based on your data

We may update, modify, or discontinue individual features for technical, security, regulatory, or product reasons.

7. AI and output limitations

Uelt uses artificial intelligence systems to generate insights, categorisations, simulations, and chat responses.

AI outputs:

  • are provided for informational purposes only
  • may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated
  • depend on the quality of available data
  • should always be verified before action is taken

Uelt does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs for your personal circumstances.

8. No financial advice

Nothing in Uelt constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Uelt does not recommend buying, selling, or holding financial instruments. All decisions remain solely your responsibility.

9. Open banking and third-party data

Uelt may allow financial account connections through third-party open banking providers.

Access to such data depends on your consent, the availability of the external provider, and the data actually made available by the relevant institutions.

Uelt does not guarantee uninterrupted, complete, or continuously updated third-party data.

10. Free and paid plans

Uelt offers a free plan without AI features and paid plans with AI features.

Pricing, monthly or annual renewal frequency, and applicable amounts are displayed before subscription.

11. Renewal, cancellation, and withdrawal

Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

If you are a consumer and request immediate activation of digital content or digital services, your withdrawal right may end to the extent permitted by applicable law, subject to your express request and acknowledgement.

Except where required by law, no pro rata refunds or refunds for periods already started are provided.

12. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Uelt for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • attempt unauthorised access
  • compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the service
  • upload malicious code
  • use the service in breach of third-party rights or applicable law

13. Intellectual property

The software, design, proprietary content, trademarks, and distinctive elements of Uelt remain owned by Uelt S.r.l. or its licensors.

Data you input or connect remains under your control, but you grant us the rights necessary to process it in order to provide the service.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you materially breach these Terms
  • there are security or fraud risks
  • we are required to do so by law

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice.

15. Liability

Uelt provides an informational and organisational tool. Uelt is not responsible for losses arising from:

  • decisions taken on the basis of unverified outputs
  • errors in input or imported data
  • failures of third-party providers
  • market changes or incorrect personal assessments

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms over time. If changes are material, we will use reasonable means to inform you before they take effect.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

If you are a consumer, you retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence or any other court available under applicable law.
